Indonesia Penghasil Gol Terbanyak dalam Sejarah Piala AFF

Piala AFF menjadi turnamen sepak bola paling prestisius di Asia Tenggara. Menurut catatan, Indonesia merupakan negara paling banyak menghasilkan gol dalam sejarah turnamen. 

Sepanjang turnamen, Indonesia telah menghasilkan 145 gol sejak bersaing di turnamen pada tahun 1996. Peringkat kedua dan seterusnya dihuni Thailand (141 gol), Vietnam (121 gol), Malaysia (101 gol), dan Singapura (95 gol). 

Statistik ini agaknya bisa menjadi pelecut semangat Timnas Indonesia yang saat ini berlaga di Piala AFF 2018. Terlebih, Indonesia masih kesulitan menemukan kembali ketajaman mereka usai dikalahkan Singapura dengan skor 0-2 di matchday pertama babak penyisihan grup.

 Berikut lima negara termoncer di Piala AFF 

 1.Indonesia ( 145 gol )

Indonesia menduduki peringkat teratas daftar pencetak gol terbanyak dalam sejarah partisipasi Piala AFF. Sejak tampil pada tahun 1996, Skuat Garuda mengemas 145 gol dalam 58 pertandingan. 

Dua striker gaek Indonesia; Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto dan Bambang Pamungkas juga masuk dalam daftar 10 pencetak gol terbanyak dalam sejarah turnamen. Kurniawan duduk di peringkat keenam, sedangkan Bambang Pamungkas di posisi ketujuh. 

Sayangnya, sepanjang penampilan di Piala AFF, Indonesia belum sekalipun mengecap manisnya gelar. Skuat Garuda sudah lima kali kalah di final dan harus puas dengan predikat runner up di tahun 2000, 2002, 2004/2005, 2010, dan 2016.

 2. Thailand ( 141 gol )

 Thailand duduk di peringkat kedua dalam daftar negara paling banyak menghasilkan gol di Piala AFF. Mereka mengemas 141 gol, sekaligus tercatat sebagai negara tersukses dalam turnamen dengan lima gelar (1996, 2000, 2002, 2014,dan 2016) 

Dua pemain Thailand, Teerasil Dangda dan Worrawoot Srimaka menghuni urutan kedua dalam daftar pencetak gol terbanyak. Keduanya sudah mengoleksi 15 gol, bersama Le Cong Vinh dari Vietnam.

 3. Vietnam ( 121 gol ) 

Vietnam duduk di urutan ketiga dalam daftar negara pencetak gol terbanyak di Piala AFF. Mereka menjadi salah satu tim paling konsisten di kompetisi, dan pernah memenangkan gelar pada 2008. 

Dalam dua edisi teranyar, Vietnam selalu lolos ke babak semifinal. Nama Le Cong Vinh menjadi pemain termoncer Vietnam di Piala AFF dengan koleksi 15 gol, setara Teerasil Dangda dan Worrawoot Srimaka dari Thailand.

 4. Malaysia ( 101 gol )

Malaysia duduk dalam urutan keempat negara penetak gol terbanyak di Piala AFF. Sekaligus tim terakhir yang memecahkan rekor 100 gol pada 2016 lalu. 

Dalam 11 kali penampilan di Piala AFF, Malaysia telah mengoleksi 101 gol. Safee Sali dan Indra Putra Mahayuddin menjadi striker mereka yang paling produktif, termasuk ketika mempersembahkan gelar juara pada 2010.

5. Singapura ( 95 gol ) 

Singapura duduk di urutan kelima dalam daftar negara pencetak gol terbanyak di Piala AFF. Sejauh keikut-sertaan negeri mungil itu di turnamen, mereka baru mengemas 95 gol. 

Singapura telah berhasil meraih empat gelar yakni pada tahun 1998, 2004/2005, 2006/2007, dan 2012. Meski tidak lebih moncer dari empat negara di atas, Singapura merupakan tim solid yang terkenal dengan pertahanan yang kuat. Menurut Fox Sports Asia, Singapura merupakan tim paling sedikit kebobolan di Piala AFF.
