Kisah Dosen yang Selamat dari Gempa dan Tsunami Palu

Gempa dan tsunami Palu 7,4 SR yang terjadi Jumat lalu (28/9/2018) menyisakan duka mendalam tak hanya bagi warga Sulawesi Tengah, namun juga bagi bangsa Indonesia. 

Kota Palu, Donggala, Sigi luluh lantak diterjang gempa dan tsunami setinggi 3 meter. Ribuan orang meninggal dunia dan puluhan ribu mengungsi karena kehilangan tempat tinggalnya. Bahkan ratusan orang masih tertimbun tidak diketahui keberadaannya. 
Seorang warga Palu menceritakan pengalamannya saat terjadinya gempa dan tsunami itu. Dia adalah Dr Husna yang berprofesi sebagai dosen di FE Universitas Tadulako Palu. DR Husna dan beberapa anggota keluarganya selamat dalam bencana dahsyat itu. 

DR Husna bercerita saat itu Jumat, tanggal 28 September 2018, sekitar pukul 14.00 sampai 16.00, gempa terjadi susul menyusul. Dia bersama rekan-rekannya masih tetap melakukan kegiatan diskusi bersama Dr Iwan Tanju dan Dr Mulyed Mulyono. Komentar Iwan, signal gempa ini tidak bagus. Dalan sejam lebih dari 3 kali goncangan kecil.

“Kami pulang kampus sekitar jam 17.15. Tiba di rumah masih sempat buka laptop untuk bantu aktivasi teman di UT. Kisaran waktu itu goncangan sangat kuat. Keluar kamar saja susah, terombang ambing, mau ambil anak Gibran tidak terjangkau. Kami terjatuh seperti goyangan di atas kapal yang dihempas ombak,” ujar dosen perempuan itu, Rabu malam (3/10/2018).
Ia berhasil keluar dari rumah saat goncangan kedua, bersama ayah, tiga anaknya, adiknya yang hamil 9 bulan, 2 keponakannya berumur 2 dan 3 tahun, ibunya berusia 70 an dan 2 orang sepupunya. Semua kendaraan dikeluarkan arah ke atas bukit. Pada goncangan ketiga, mereka memutuskan untuk mencari tempat yang lebih tinggi. Kendaraannya lebih banyak ditumpangi tetangga yang meminta tolong.

“Pada goncangan keempat, kami masih dalam mobil, mobil tidak bisa bergerak. Subhanallah, keadaan tidak menentu, di jalan kecil lorongku sudah dipadati kendaraan lain dan orang-orang yang berlarian. Sudah banyak puing-puing pagar dan bangunan runtuh. Kami tetap terobos dan sampai pada ketinggian, di belakang STQ Palu,” ungkapnya.
Di posisi ketinggian pun tidak merasa aman, karena retakan/patahan tanah. “Saya hanya bisa berdoa saja dan tawakkal. Anak-anak semakin histeris,” ucapnya.

Dari tempat pengungsian pertama, dia menyaksikan kendaraan yang semakin padat. Orangtua mencari anak-anaknya, dan bertemu dengan orang-orang yang basah kuyup dan luka parah karena tertimpa bangunan rumahnya dan terseret air laut, terpisah dari keluarganya. Pada saat gempa goncangan dahsyat pertama itu, listrik dan signal HP mati. 
“Kami kembali ke depan rumah di hari pertama. Dengan beberapa orang lain ikut. Hari pertama, kedua dan ketiga, hanya di depan rumah di tempat pengungsi, dengan logistik terbatas. Saya dan keluarga beserta tetangga ada sekitar 70 orang. Listrik mati, air mati, HP mati, signal tidak ada, malam mencekam. Banyak mayat ditemukan dan belum ditemukan”.

“Hari keempat, kami baru tahu bahwa ada dua orang keponakan (8 tahun dan 5 tahun), terseret air laut, keponakanku (3 tahun) bersama abinya terkubur dalam rumah di BTN Balaroa. Istri, anak dan cucu omku iba terbakar dalam rumahnya. Beberapa tetangga meninggal karena terjepit dalam retakan tanah, hanyut dan serangan jantung,” papar Husna.
Di tengah serba tidak bisa, lanjut dia, ada uang tapi tidak ada penjual, ATM tidak berfungsi, bandara macet total. Kondisi rill, walaupun memiliki uang, tidak bisa dibelanjakan, tidak ada toko/pasar yang buka. Mall dan swalayan besar sudah dijarah masyarakat.
“Adikku mau melahirkan, logistik sangat terbatas. Pilu, berduka sekali, semoga kami kuat. Anak-anakku masih trauma. Tolong doakan kami,” ujarnya sembari meminta doa agar musibah ini cepat berlalu.
