Segini Biaya Asian Games 2018 dari Pembukaan hingga Penutupan

Selain pujian, Sri Mulyani juga berbagi cerita mengenai keseriusan pemerintah dalam mendukung perhelatan akbar tersebut. Hal itu tampak dari besarnya anggaran yang digelontorkan untuk Asian Games 2018. 

Melalui akun instagramnya, Menkeu menyebutkan tak kurang dari Rp8,2 triliun yang digelontorkan pemerintah untuk Asian Games 2018. 

Penyelenggaraan event Asian Games dibiayai oleh APBN 2015-2018 sebesar Rp8,2 triliun yang dikelola INASGOC bersama Kemenpora. Dana tersebut digunakan INASGOC untuk seluruh persiapan, pembukaan, penyelenggaraan, hingga penuntasan penyelenggaraan Asian Games," ujar Sri Mulyaniseperti dikutip SINDOnews, Senin (3/9/2018).
Dia memaparkan, untuk penyiapan/pembinaan atlet dalam periode 2015-2018, APBN mengucurkan dana Rp2,1 triliun (termasuk bonus bagi atlet, pelatih dan official). 

"Pembinaan atlet memang memerlukan waktu panjang untuk latihan di dalam dan luar negeri. Hasil Asian Games 2018 menjadi batu loncatan untuk menuju Olimpiade 2020," imbuhnya. 

Di luar itu, pemerintah juga membenamkan investasi di sektor konstruksi sekitar Rp13,7 triliun untuk Jakarta dan Palembang. Pembiayaan dari APBN untuk sektor ini juga telah disiapkan sejak 2015 hingga 2018. Semua fasilitas di kawasan olah raga Senayan- Jakarta dan di kawasan Jakabaring-Palembang, infrastruktur jalan termasuk LRT, semuanya dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat setelah Asian Games. Termasuk apabila ada kegiatan olah raga tingkat internasional di kemudian hari. Kita akan menjaga aset negara ini untuk semaksimal mungkin manfaat bagi masyarakat luas," tandasnya.
